Introduction:
Live music is a great form of entertainment and always enjoyed by all. If you are looking to hire a band or you require support services for a band, then SOUND PROJ-X can help. We can work in two ways – either by providing a complete solution (ie band and full production) or by just providing the support services for the band (ie stage, sound, lighting etc.)

The Complete Solution

Just tell us the sort of band and style of music you are looking for, along with a few other details and we’ll do the rest! Whether it is a soloist to provide some background music at a wedding reception or a 10-piece band to entertain 1000 people at a charity fundraiser, you can rely on SOUND PROJ-X to make your event a success. We only supply bands and musicians that we have personally dealt with and listened to and can therefore guarantee quality and talent for your occasion. Support Services

Many bands have their own sound and lighting equipment and can happily cope with small venues and audiences alike. Sometimes however, the venue is either too large for the band’s own equipment or, the artist / performer(s) you would like, do not have their own equipment. In such circumstances, SOUND PROJ-X can supply the required sound and lighting as well as an audio technician and lighting engineer. For a price, we’ll need you to provide us with a few details that can be found by clicking here or by downloading the “Support Services” form at the bottom of this page.

Pricing depends on a number of factors such as the size and quality of the band, the size and duration of the event and the type of equipment required. We recommend you contact us to discuss these but have shown some previous events below to give you a rough idea of what you can get for your money:

Eample 1- Complete Solution

Barn Dance 4-Piece band + caller Country Marquee 400 people Budget is £500 Saturday 8pm – 12am
Band + caller, Sound, lighting and engineer supplied at £450.00

Eample 2- Complete Solution

Company function 10-Piece band Bigband sound Town hall 1000 people Budget is £1500 Saturday 8pm – 12am
Band, Sound, lighting and engineer supplied at £1200.00

Eample 1- Support Services

Pub Garden Music Festival 6 x Bands Rock and Blues Music Bands will bring instruments and backline only and require 4 x monitors (2 x mixes) and all other PA equipment. (No minimum specs apply) Marquee 250 People Saturday, 1pm – 11pm
Sound, lighting and an engineer supplied at £700.00

Eample 2- Support Services

Charity Battle of the Bands 5 x Bands Indy, Rock, Alternative, Electronic Bands will bring instruments and backline only and require 4 x monitors (2 x mixes) and all other PA equipment. (No minimum specs apply) Big Top Tent 800-1000 People Saturday, 3pm – 1am
Sound, lighting and 2 x engineers supplied at £800.00
