Introduction:
SOUND PROJ-X has over 10 years experience with outdoor events. They can be split into two main categories – public and private. As a rule of thumb, public events are open to the general public and are often subject to an entrance fee, whereas private events refer to invite-only, often-smaller functions on privately owned land with no admission fee.

Public Events:

Unfortunately, outdoor public events are becoming less and less common these days. This is because they are subject to new licensing laws, strict legislation and policing costs – all of which make organising such an event extremely time consuming and very expensive. Good old English weather probably has something to do with it as well by adding a significant risk factor that many people can’t afford to take. Nevertheless, they do still happen and include festivals, concerts, carnivals, shows, street parties, markets and sporting events. All services that SOUND PROJ-X undertake are compliant to the relevant environmental health and safety regulations. We employ safe working practices and carry £5M of public liability insurance. Furthermore, should you require any risk assessments or method statements we will be pleased to supply them.

Private Events:

These include garden parties, wedding receptions, celebrations and other special occasions. You’ll be surprised what a difference a couple of lights or perhaps some music can make. We have provided everything from a reel of festoon lights for a family barbeque to a complete sound and lighting system for a garden marquee wedding reception. Whatever the occasion, please contact us – we’ll be happy to discuss your thoughts and requirements with you.
